Phil Page, PhD, PT, ATC, MS, CSCS
Director of Clinical Education and Research
As director of clincial education and research for Performance Health products, Dr. Phil Page directs the Thera-Band Academy. He is a licensed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer. His clinical and research interests include the role of muscle imbalance in musculoskeletal pain, and in promoting physical activity in older adults. He has presented internationally on exercise and rehabilitation topics, and has numerous publications. He has a master's degree in Exercise Physiology, and a PhD in Kinesiology. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has worked with the athletic programs at LSU, Tulane, the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks, as well as the United States Olympic Track and Field Trials.
THERA-BAND® ADVISORY BOARD
The Thera-Band® Advisory Board consists of professionals in therapy, fitness, and research around the world to provide input on product and program development, including development and testing of new products.
Annually, representatives of the Advisory Board, the Thera-Band® Research Advisory Committee (TRAC), meet to discuss research and initiatives on Thera-Band and Biofreeze products. TRAC conducts research on Thera-Band products to support evidence-based practice.

Barton N. Bishop, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS Chief Clinical Officer Sport and Spine Rehab Washington DC
Dr. Bishop graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in May of 2003. While at Creighton, Dr. Bishop played Division-I collegiate golf and has done further study in the biomechanics of the golf swing and sports physical therapy including being a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor-Medical Professional Level 2 by the Titleist Performance Institute. In 2007, Dr. Bishop successfully passed the exam to become a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (SCS - ABPTS). He is currently the Chief Clinical Officer of Sport and Spine Rehab in the Washington, DC area.

Wojtek Chodzko-Zajko, PhD Professor & Head, Kinesiology Department University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana Champaign, Illinois
Wojtek is currently Head of the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His primary research interests are in the area of aging and physical activity. He chairs the Active Aging Partnership, a national coalition in the area of healthy aging and has served as the Principal Investigator of the National Blueprint Project, a coalition of more than 50 national organizations with a joint commitment to promoting independent and active aging in the 50 plus population.

Todd S. Ellenbecker, DPT, MS, SCS, OCS, CSCS Clinic Director Physiotherapy Associates Scottsdale, Arizona
Todd is a physical therapist and Clinic Director of Physiotherapy Associates Scottsdale Sports Clinic in Scottsdale Arizona. He is also the Director of Sports Medicine for the ATP Tour and Chairman of the United States Tennis Association's Sport Science Committee. Todd's main areas of research are in shoulder and elbow rehabilitation and musculoskeletal profling of tennis and baseball players. He is the author of numerous books and research publications

Sue Falsone , PT, MS, SCS, ATC, CSCS Director of Performance Physical Therapy Athlete's Performance / Core Performance Tempe, Arizona
Sue is the Director of Performance Physical Therapy for Athletes’ Performance and Core Performance. She is also the Major League Physical Therapist for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Sue earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College, in her hometown of Buffalo, NY. She went on to complete her Master’s of Science Degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Human Movement with a concentration in Sports Medicine. Sue holds an adjunct Professor position in the Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at A.T. Still University, Human Movement (MS) Program. Sue is Board Certified in Sports Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association, is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

In addition to maintaining his private practice as CEO of Sport and Spine Rehab, Dr. Greenstein has been a recommended provider for the National Football League Players Association for the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens since 1997. Since that time he has also been the Official Team Chiropractor for the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders.

Tom Hyde, DC, DACBSP Private Practice Miami Florida
Dr. Hyde graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1977. He served as the chiropractor for the US Team at the Pan American Games. He has worked with the athletic program at the University of Miami and spent 7 years as the chiropractic consultant for the Miami Dolphins. Dr. Hyde continues to lecture around the world on topics ranging from sports to the detection and treatment of soft tissue injuries.

Michael Rogers, PhD, CSCS, FASCM Department Chair and Professor Dept. of Human Performance Studies Wichita State University, KS
Dr. Rogers is a professor of exercise science, the chair of the department of human performance studies, and research director for the Center for Physical Activity and Aging at Wichita State University. His research focuses on developing evidence-based programs to improve balance, strength, and function in older adults. He is regularly invited to present on these programs in North America, Europe, and Asia. He is a fellow of the ACSM and a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Mary Sanders, PhD Associate Professor, School of Medicine University of Nevada Reno, Nevada
Mary is an Associate Professor, Center for Nutrition and Metabolic Disorders, School of Medicine; Adjunct Professor, School of Public Health and Affiliated Faculty, Sanford Center for Aging, University of Nevada, Reno. Her primary research interests are in the area of physical activity & aging and functional training for clients who are healthy, post-rehab and those who suffer from chronic conditions. Her focus is on developing evidence-based water exercise programs that serve as a gateway to land performance. She is an Associate Editor of ACSM’s Health & Fitness Journal for the American College of Sports Medicine; Advisory board member for International Council on Active Aging and columnist for the Journal on Active Aging. Mary is editor/co-author of YMCA Water Fitness for Health and as Director of www.WaterFit.com , she regularly teaches in Asia, Europe and North & South America.

Robert Topp, PhD, RN Professor & Assistant Dean for Research School of Nursing, University of Louisville Louisville, Kentucky
Dr. Topp is the Shirley B Powers Endowed Chair for Health Systems Research. Robert has conducted extramurally funded research for the past 20 years which has examined the impact of various forms of exercise including resistance training on the health and functioning of older adults. He has also conducted studies in the area of preventing and treating childhood obesity through diet and physical activity interventions. His findings are widely published, presented and include over 75 papers published in scientific journals and over 200 presentations presented at regional, national and international conferences. His current project involves examining the effect of prehabilitation before surgery on rehabilitation among total knee replacement patients. Another ongoing research project involves comparing cryotherapy (application of ice) with menthol ointment on blood flow, pain and muscle performance among healthy young adults. A final ongoing project Dr Topp in conducting involves improving the nutrition and physical activity habits of incoming college freshman through peer-based interventions.

Pam Toto, MS, OTR/L, BCG, FAOTA University of Pittsburgh
Pam is an occupational therapist with over 20 years of direct care experience primarily working with older adults. Her primary areas of clinical expertise include health promotion in aging and falls prevention. She works as an occupational therapist practicing in home health therapist and as a clinical instructor/research associate for the University of Pittsburgh, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Rehabilitation Science. Pam is the Special Interest Section Chairperson of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and is Board Certified in Gerontology by the AOTA. She is an active volunteer with Rebuilding Together, Pittsburgh and is a certified group exercise instructor through the American Council on Aging and Body Training Systems. .

Timothy Tyler, MS, PT, ATC Clinical Research Associate Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine & Athletic Trauma New York, NY
Tim is physical therapist in private practice in New York. He is also a Research Associate at the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma at Lenox Hill Hospital. His research interests include developing new objective measurements and evidence based rehabilitation guidelines. He has been published in several journals and texts.

Mark Verstegan, MS, CSCS President & Founder Athlete's Performance Tempe, Arizona
Mark completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Sciences and played Football at Washington State University before completing his Masters degree in Sport Sciences at the University of Idaho. He created the world-class Athletes' Performance (www.athletesperformance.com) projects at Arizona State University and in Los Angeles, CA at the Home Depot Center. Mark consults as the Director of Performance for the NFL Players Association. He is the author of the new book, Core Performance.

Dagmar received her degrees in physiotherapy at the Charles University in Prague as student and successor of professors Janda, Lewit and Vele. She also teaches professional workshops around the world. Her research interests are in clinical kinesiology.

Nejc received his degrees in physical therapy and sport science at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Nobuo earned his Ph.D. in Health Sciences (Exercise Physiology) from Aichi Medical University. He is a professor of Graduate School of Natural Sciences at Nagoya City University. His primary research interests concern the effects of aerobic and resistance training on health and functional independence for older adults. Most recently he has started to determine the effect of Home-Based Exercise (HBE) Program or Community-Based Exercise (CBE) on well-rounded exercise for older adults.

Leo obtained his undergraduate degree in sports rehabilitation from Shanghai Sports University and master degree of public health from Sun Yat-sen University, and is completing his PhD in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has more than 12 years’ clinical experience in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and accomplish in traditional Chinese massage and exercises.
